THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

Rabbi Bassin believes that religion plays an important role in shaping us as individuals and in informing how we shape our society well beyond the walls of the sanctuary. Though fewer Americans are turning to traditional religious institutions for guidance, many still look for moral leadership and an outlet for discourse that approaches contemporary issues with vision and values. From countering extremism to tackling #MeToo and the fight for racial justice, her public-facing rabbinate does not shy away from the difficult conversations that define our historical moment and from the honest intellectual debates that help us all better understand our world.
